  • Key points to remember while comparing Summer Camps:
      • How many actual days are they open? Are they open on June 17, July 3, Aug 1? Are they open for children not going on Field Trips on the days other children are going on Field Trips?
      • Do they use certified teachers? Who is certifying their teachers?
      • Do they have any history of running a licensed program that ensured the safety of children? We run year-round licensed After-school programs in three sites in the Evergreen area and have a deep understanding of what it takes to keep children safe. All our staff members go through extensive fingerprinting and background checks that meet the stringent requirements of the Department of Social Services - Child Care Services Division.
      • Are they open till 6:30PM?
      • What amount do you lose if you withdraw after registration?
      • Do they offer 4 week, 5 week, 6 week options at the site you want?
      • Do they have a sports program lead by world class coaches?
      • Do they have Speech and Debate, Computer Programming, Film Making as a part of their program?
      • How do they meet the Common Core State Standards to tailor instruction to meet the needs of individual students in their classrooms?
      • Do they have a Project Based engaging teaching environment that builds Communication and Critical Thinking skills each and every day?
      • Do they have an online environment like PathToExcel.com where teachers and students collaborate and parents can review work done in the Summer Camp by their children?
